THE STORY
This is a great place to take in a sunset.
What’s great about this time of day is how the sunlight makes everything look and feel so much different than during the daytime.

I used color to recreate what it feels like to be here at this time of day and it’s not just the sunset creating these colors, it’s a mood that is almost tangible. If a rock is closer to me it might have more red mixed into the purple, if a leaf is catching a beam of light it will have a bright yellow edge.

I hope you like the colors and energy in this painting as much as I do.
