Beltline Urban Murals Project (BUMP) Calgary, AB

This mural is located at the busy intersection of 14th street and 11 avenue sw in Calgary’s Beltline. The intention for this project was to use bright colors and high contrast to enliven what was previously a dark and unapproachable wall.

This mural is part of a series of murals sponsored by BUMP, the Beltline Urban Murals Project. It’s an initiative by the Beltline Neighbourhoods Association to showcase art, improve the public realm and build community spirit in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhoods. To date, there are 16 artist murals located throughout the beltline from the project.
