THE STORY

This is Mount Yamnuska, it is located in the Bow Valley Wildland Provincial Park which is in the Kananaskis Region.
We love this mountain because of it’s proximity to Calgary, it’s challenging yet extremely fun scramble and the over 150 climbing routes.

The face of the mountain is one of the first you see when entering the rockies from the east on the #1 highway.

I chose warm colors that remind me of a hot summer morning hike through the sage and wild grasses towards the mountain.
