THE STORY

This is Rundle Mountain, It’s one of the most impressive and most viewed mountains in Alberta as it can be seen from the #1 highway and overlooks the towns of Banff and Canmore.

I’ve always been drawn to this mountain because of it’s impressive size and shape.

In this painting you’ll notice the Bow river nestled between the rolling treed hills that lead up to the mountain.
The warm colored grasses in the foreground are included because they remind me of the beginning of a sunny day’s adventure.
