THE STORY
This is a 16” x 20” original painting of Rundle Mountain

I made this painting because I absolutely love this mountain, one of my pastimes is to imagine walking across the top of this giant slab of earth that’s been lifted into the sky.

The complimentary blue/orange, centred composition and pop of bright color from the Red Paintbrush Flower demand attention and hold onto it for as long as possible

For the past 10 years I’ve been making digital artwork based on skills learned from a previous 10 years of graphic design. This is the first year I’ve offered acrylic paintings. Everything I’ve learned about color, composition, storytelling etc is crammed into these paintings.
