THE STORY
Tofino is a place I’ve wanted to paint for years and somehow another project always seemed to be in the way.  I like to think that since Tofino is such a special place to myself and so many others, I wasn’t ready, I had to pay my dues first.  

Regardless I finally put the time aside to paint the sunset I’ve had in my head all these years.  

There’s something very calming about how the water rolls in and out reflecting purple, blue and pink and a little yellow peeking through from behind the trees in the distance. 

THE PAINTING
This is a one-of-a-kind acrylic painting on canvas measuring 14 x 18 inches. It is framed, ready to hang, signed, dated and then varnished with a UV coating so the colors will not fade over time.

THE FRAME
Price includes a beautiful frame custom made from solid Wood. The simple transparent finish highlights the natural characteristics of the wood, its knots, checks, and color variation. This frame features profiles with simple lines, a nod to Mid-Century Modern American furnishings.
